TEACHING THE COLLOQUIAL DIALECT THROUGH REPRESENTATIVE SITUATIONS (SYRIAN DIALECT AS A MODEL)

for education is Importance in all aspects of life and in various sciences, including languages and their dialects, Just as teaching a specific language is important, teaching dialects is also important, including the Syrian dialect, The need to teach the Syrian dialect has become clear to everyone who follows the movements of Syrians and their mixing with other environments. This imposed on the Syrians to integrate with those environments and work in them, and it resulted in the need to learn the dialect from the students who study the Arabic language in that environment, And because one of the best methods of education is to expose learners to real situations in which they live and coexist, the method of education is in what is called: “drama” or representational situations have become present on the table of educational methods and one of its axes. This research aims to shed light on learning dialects in general and learning the Syrian dialect in particular, The method of learning it is through representative situations by making the learner live with the dialect by hearing and watching situations that have been represented and embody what is going on in life, He acquires and memorize them, and understand the vocabulary of each situation and what can be said in it, many situations have been presented and some of what is said in them, Then, tests were presented to understand the learner's comprehension of studying these or similar situations ‏
